Under the scheme, the bank offers upto 85 percent of the cost of extension with a repayment option extending upto 20 years subject to the retirement age of the borrower. The interest rate is calculated on the basis of HDFC's Retail Prime Lending Rate (RPLR) under adjustable rate home loan.
HDFC Home Extension Loan can be taken by an individual borrower or by a group of co-applicants in joint participation. |
